    Hey Dom, do you think I can go from +30 kg pull-up to +60 kg in year?

    • @trdic
      @trdic 2 дні тому

      It really depends, i am not comfortable claiming anything, but it is doable. Question is, did you really peak at your pulling power at 30kg or its doable on random days without even training specifically for it ? You commented on Hannes video i just saw it, you understand how things are working , with clever accessory work, pulling power can go up greatly. Hannes went from 1rm at 47kg to 80kg in 12 months of coaching.

      @trdic Hey Dom. I saw your explanation with 3 reps, 4 reps progression etc. If somebody were to train in a higher rep range, like 8-12, the progress would be slower?

    • @smart-ass8518
      @smart-ass8518 2 дні тому

      @@cubul32 I suppose, because at some point, you'll be training for hypertrophy and some strength. But with 5 reps, you'll always remain in the strength category.

    • @cubul32
      @cubul32 2 дні тому

      @@smart-ass8518 but isn't hypertrophy also offering strength? Is hypertrophy literally about mass and no power?

    • @JBBoli
      @JBBoli 2 дні тому

      @@cubul32 You'll still progress under any rep range. But it wont be as efficient because the energy needed to lift yourself an extra rep will compound over the sets making your last rep considerably more difficult than your first. Within a range of 1 - 6 your force production is just far more efficient for increasing in strength and far more specific to your goals if your aim is to increase your weighted pull up

    This is literally the BS planche tutorial 😂. If you really wanna improve planche , instead of shoulder press do free handstand push ups that will help you to understand balance, wrist conditioning, shoulder strength. Weighted dips might help you only if you feel weak in your elbows while you try to do planche but actually doesn't help to learn planche For planche, you have to be extremely good at hspu , do some planche leans, planche holds Most people don't know this but if you just make your hspu strong enough (atleast 10 reps with good depth) then planche isn't that unachievable It is all about shoulder strength in planche.

    Well this is weird. I actually learned how to do a backflip in even less time. My first parkour class, obviously they spotted me. But since I have a long background of mma and street workout, I got it pretty quickly. It was scary. Now that I forgot how to do it Im not that fucking crazy to try it by myself though lol
